Located in the Midtown Global Market, we bring traditional Moroccan flavors to the Twin Cities
We opened in April 2016. We invite you to join us at our warm and welcome setting in the Midtown Global Market.
Moroccan Flavors' decor is inspired by the Northern Moroccan city of Chefchaouen, where every building is painted in a cool shade of blue. Founded in 1471, the walled city's remote, mountainous location kept it insulated from the rest of the world for centuries. Today the city is a dream-like destination for wanderers and adventurers across the globe.
If you have not tried a tagine before, this is the time to try it! A tagine is a traditional Moroccan stew slow-cooked in stoneware also called a tagine. The conical shape of the tagine gathers the steam which condenses and trickles back into the stew creating an especially moist and flavorful dish!
We are proud to have won the "Business to Watch" award at the Neighborhood Development Center's Entrepreneur Awards event in 2017.
